About

Meet the person behind your website.

Texas Hill Country Web Solutions is run by one person → Daniel Frick. When you hire me, you work with me directly from the first call to launch day and beyond.

Why I started Texas Hill Country Web Solutions.

I started Texas Hill Country Web Solutions because I noticed the websites of local small businesses owners around the region were not updated to marketing standards which would affect their online presence. Most of these sites were created by major DIY SaaS hosting sites. And knowing that it’s tough running a small business against corporate businesses, I thought I could help level the playing field.

After more than a decade working in IT and web development, I saw the same thing over and over: running a small business is hard enough without also having to figure out SEO — and now AEO on top of that and how to properly structure a website. Plenty of great businesses have loyal customers who find them through word of mouth, but when a new customer hears about them and hits Google, they come up empty. That's a fixable problem, and that's exactly what I built THCWS to fix.

Every site I build is a one-time investment with transparent pricing. Hosting and care plans are optional, not required. And because I'm the only person on the project, there's no account manager, no handoff, no runaround — just me, your site, and a clear path to launch.

10+ years of IT and web experience.

Before starting THCWS, I spent over a decade working in IT and web development — solving real business problems, not just writing code.

IT & Systems Background

Over a decade working in IT — supporting enterprise environments, managing infrastructure, and troubleshooting mission-critical systems. That foundation means I build websites that don't break, stay secure, and are easy to maintain.

Hands-on Web Development

I write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from scratch — no page builders, no bloated plugins, no templates pulled off a shelf. Every site I build is coded to be fast, accessible, and built to last.

Local SEO & Analytics

I don't just build the site — I make sure people find it. Google Business Profile setup, on-page SEO, structured data, Google Analytics (GA4), and the measurement tools you need to see what's actually working.

Based in San Marcos. Built for the Hill Country.

I live and work in San Marcos, Texas. I know the Hill Country because I'm in it every day — from coffee shops on The Square to the businesses lining I-35 and the small towns out Highway 12. When I build a website for a local business, I'm not parachuting in from somewhere else. I understand your customers because I am your customer.

My service area stretches across the core of the Hill Country: San Marcos, New Braunfels, Wimberley, Kyle, Buda, and the communities in between. If you're within an hour of downtown San Marcos, chances are I've already driven through your town.

Transparent. Direct. Done on time.

Here's what working with me actually looks like.

One Point of Contact

You talk to me — not a sales rep, not a project manager, not a team of contractors. Same person from the first call to the final launch and every update after.

Fixed Pricing, No Surprises

You get a quote up front, and that's what you pay. Hosting and care plans are optional — never bundled in to inflate the bill. If you don't need it, you don't buy it.

Fast, But Not Rushed

Most sites go live within 10–14 days once I have your content. That's fast because I know what I'm doing — not because I'm cutting corners.

What you can expect from me.

I don't use jargon to sound smart. If I can't explain what I'm doing on your site in plain English, I don't deserve to be doing it. You should understand exactly what you're paying for and why it matters.

When we finish your site, you own it. You have the domain, you have access to everything, and if you ever decide to move on from me, you can — no hostage situations, no transfer fees, no drama.

If the Starter package is right for your business, I'll say so — even if Premium would pay me more. If a feature you're asking about isn't worth the money, I'll tell you. Long-term trust is worth more than one oversized invoice.

I build with standards-based code on infrastructure you can actually migrate. No proprietary platforms that hold your business hostage, no 3-year contracts, no auto-renewals buried in fine print.
